Surrey Loft Conversion Case Study
Problem
With a growing family and two young children, Neil and Helen were very limited on space in their traditionally proportioned 2 bedroomed Victorian cottage. They needed an extra bedroom, and bathroom, but it was important to retain as much storage space as possible.
Surrey Loft’s Solution
We cleverly converted the loft area to create a master bedroom with built in wardrobes, along with a generous en suite shower room. Vital storage areas were created in the eaves spaces, and under the new staircase.
The Results
The clever design of the storage space and positioning of the new staircase has allowed the family to retain two good sized double bedrooms on the first floor whilst gaining a brand new master bedroom and en suite on the second floor. As a result, Neil and Helen have the vital space they need as their family grows.
